The air temperature will decrease by 2-3◦C compared to last week, although the country's territory remains under the influence of a heat wave, the National Environment Agency reports.
According to the Agency, on some days the air temperature in Western Georgia may reach 34◦C, 36◦C, and in Eastern Georgia - 35◦C, 37◦C.
"In the mountainous regions of the country, the maximum daytime temperature will rise to 31◦C, 36◦C, in the highlands - to 26◦C, 31◦C.
The expected high temperatures are favorable conditions for the activation of processes related to forest fires and the melting of glaciers," reads the information.
